Cook Desktop App
Requires macOS 12+.
Unsigned build: Gatekeeper will block the first launch. Right-click the app → "Open", then confirm in the dialog. On some Macs it instead says the app "is damaged and can't be opened" — see below, that's not a bad download.
That message is macOS Gatekeeper quarantining an unsigned app, not a corrupt download — signing and notarization are planned, but until then you'll need to clear the quarantine flag yourself. If unsure, verify the download against SHA256SUMS first (link below), then run:
xattr -cr /Applications/Cook.appHaven't moved it to Applications yet? Point it at Downloads instead:
xattr -cr ~/Downloads/Cook.appVerify downloads against SHA256SUMS in the release assets.
